PTC Thermistors for Overcurrent Protection
Application
Used for overcurrent, overvoltage, and overheating protection in industrial electronics, consumer electronics, and electronic data processing systems.
Characteristics
◆ Enables rapid protection with a short response time.
◆ Before the overload is removed, the PTC keeps the circuit in a protected state; once the overload is eliminated, the PTC automatically returns to its original state.
◆ Does not cause false tripping, making it suitable for protecting power supply circuits and motor drive circuits.
◆ Excellent resistance to mechanical vibration and shock
◆ High thermal stability
