Yidu Botong Electronics Co., Ltd. was established in July 2004, covering an area of 18,000 square meters. It is a national high-tech enterprise integrating the research and development, production, and sales of ceramic PTC thermistors and PTC powder materials. In 2013, the company acquired the complete PTC production line from Hubei Xingjingdu Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. Hubei Xingjingdu originated as the state-owned Yidu Radio Factory, founded in 1979, and in 1989 it fully introduced from Japan’s TDK Corporation the production technology, management system, and key core equipment for PTC thermistors.
The company has consistently focused on the R&D and innovation of PTC series products and high-end applications, with its core offerings primarily serving industries such as automotive electronics, industrial electronics and equipment, home appliances, and information and communication technology. Guided by the principle of creating value for customers, the company collaborates closely with clients to continuously develop the most suitable products and comprehensive turnkey solutions.
The company places great emphasis on building a robust quality management system and has successively obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 certifications. The company operates a product reliability testing laboratory and serves as an internship base for students from Three Gorges University.

The company holds 8 invention patents and 31 utility model patents, and serves as a principal drafting organization and key drafter for multiple national standards.
